our mission
The Old English Hunting Club in Southeast Arkansas provides a top-notch waterfowl hunting experience. With experienced guides and diverse hunting grounds spanning over 10,000 acres, including flooded and dry fields, clients enjoy optimal hunting situations. The club is located in a prime area for duck and goose hunting along one of the nation's largest flyways.
THE OWNERS
GREG JACOBS
DAVID ANDERSON
Greg and David first met at the University of Arkansas in 1996 when they were both members of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. They quickly became close friends and have been hunting together for 25 years. Throughout the years, they have been part of several duck clubs. In 2016, Greg, a third-generation farmer and second-generation duck guide, took a bold step and established the Old English Hunting Club. David promptly joined him as a member of the club. From 2016 to 2023, they continued hunting together, and David also served as a guide when Greg needed assistance. In 2023, David became Greg's business partner and Old English Hunting Club co-owner. Greg's Ag-Business degree and David's Business Administration, Transportation & Logistics degree make them a strong team. They are committed to realizing Greg's long-held dream and expanding from there. Greg and David's shared dedication has transformed a bold idea into a thriving reality. The Old English Hunting Club is a testament to their hard work, vision, and the enduring power of friendship.

NATE HUGGINS
Nate has been an integral part of Old English right from the very beginning. Nate draws his expertise from a rich history of hunting and fishing in the Midlands of South Carolina. In addition to his hands-on experience, he also holds a degree in Game Preserve Management and Shoot Complex Management from Southeastern Illinois College. Nate credits Greg as the pivotal figure who imparted the knowledge and skills essential for excelling as a guide. He is dedicated to meticulous preparation to ensure that every group has an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.
JAY PERRY
Jay has accumulated 16 years of extensive guiding experience, showcasing his proficiency in delivering invaluable support to Old English during the conservation season four years ago. By seamlessly integrating into the team, Jay's commitment and dedication became apparent as he transitioned to a full-time role the following season. Jay finds great satisfaction in ensuring that each customer has an exceptional hunting experience.
JOHN SLOCUM
John, who is Greg's cousin, has been an avid hunting partner of Greg's for more than eight years. In Northeast Arkansas, John has founded a successful guiding service focused on conservation hunting. Over the last two years, he has specialized in guiding Old English hunts during the regular hunting season, demonstrating his dedication to delivering a rewarding hunting experience.

Four years ago, during a guided hunt on World Championship Calling Day, we had the pleasure of meeting Vincent. Vincent has spent the last eight years refining his guiding skills in Arkansas and Louisiana. His collaboration with Old English began a year ago when he offered his expertise by leading several conservation hunts. Vincent is a highly skilled champion caller for ducks and speckle-bellies and is dedicated to ensuring a successful birding experience for you.
